ARCHITECTURAL INTERN
Klauder & Company Architects is a small architectural firm in Kenai, Alaska, specializing in commercial, public, and multi-family residential projects. We are looking for an Intern Architect with a strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit to join the team at our Kenai office. We seek individuals who desire to grow and advance within the firm.
The candidate will contribute to all phases of the design process from programming and concept design through construction administration. You will be provided the opportunity to grow and develop your skills and career, with mentoring and support from our team.
Your specific responsibilities will encompass all aspects of architectural services including:
Participating in programming sessions and creating programming documentation
Conceptual design utilizing CAD and 3D computer modeling
Code and zoning research
Creating, updating, and maintaining CAD drawings, Revit drawings and models during the schematic design, design development, and construction document phases
Coordination with clients, design team members, building officials, and contractors
Provide construction administration services
Requirements:
High degree of general computer literacy and proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD & Revit are essential
Team oriented personality, congenial, and willing to take on any task
An architectural education is appreciated but by no means required.
Must be Authorized to Work in the US without company sponsorship
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary is dependent on experience

JUNIOR ARCHITECT

We are looking for a licensed architect with a strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit to join the team at our Kenai office as a Junior Architect. We seek individuals who desire to grow and advance within the firm.
The candidate will be heavily involved all phases of the design process from programming and concept design through construction administration. You will be provided the opportunity to grow and develop your skills and career.
